At the Modern Works on Paper Fair, Royal Academy of Arts, London, 1-4 February 2007

For the first time in its history, the organisers of the Modern Works on Paper Fair invited a group of presses to offer their wares in a room at the Royal Academy. The event lasted four days and a total of about 35 hours selling time which was exhausting but very rewarding. We made some good sales, and in particular new customers. For the most part, the people who visited the stands were new to the world of books and there was a constant stream of surprise at the output of this secret world.
